Description:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelorís Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
MSP Certification preferred
Advanced SAP Training preferred
2-3 years experience in SAP Basis Administration
Knowledge of SAP Systems (ECC 6.0, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP PI/XI, SAP BW & BOBJ, Solution Manager)
Knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Servers 2008 in VMWare and SAN environment.
Knowledge of MS/SQL Database
Candidate must have strong work ethics, displaying self-discipline and proving ability to multi-task under pressure. Must be punctual, well-organized, and exercise sound judgment in area of responsibility.
Requires a Valid Driverís License (subject to motor vehicle record review)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Performs system management for SAP servers and host systems; Managers and maintain all servers in SAP landscape and VM environment, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime.
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SAP servers. Moved this up from down further.
Maintains and monitors SAP system performance; Monitor system logs and activities of SAP servers and devices.
Analyzes SAP system configuration and compiles statistics for performance benchmarks; Troubleshoots problems with network, web services, and overall aspects of SAP solution.
Maintains SAP system flowcharts, documentation, procedures and hardware inventories.
Plans, designs, and coordinates the installation of SAP system software and hardware; Coordinate with other IT departments to schedule installation of Enhancement Packs and Support Packs.
Designs and implements security management system for SAP servers and host configuration assuring that each system is protected from intrusion of software and hardware.
Communicates with service and maintenance entities to determine the cause of system equipment failure and applies repairs and fixes.
Install and configure SAP printer systems.
Distribute and monitor SAP server storage space allotments.
Design and implement disaster recovery plan for SAP operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.
Provide 24/7 on-call technical support. Provides technical assistance and training to other department staff.
Analyze SAP system and application usage and plan for growth or increases in system capacity.
Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.
Develop, implement, enforce and maintain policies, procedures for SAP system administration and appropriate use.
Administer and maintain SAP end user accounts; Authorization, and access rights.
Perform security and licensing audits.
Attend and actively participate in division and department meetings.
Submit various reports such as monthly report, weekly report and outage report.
Must work in a Team-oriented environment and be actively involved with cross-training colleagues.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
